We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, trustworthy
and authoritative in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
We believe in one omnipotent, omniscient God, eternally revealed in
three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus and that He is fully God and
fully man. He was and is the Christ (Messiah) of Biblical prophecy. He
was crucified and died for the sins of all mankind for all time. He
rose physically from the dead in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy,
ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father,
and is now our High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that humans are created in the spiritual image of God
(John 4:24) but are estranged from God and spiritually dead because of
the willful acts of iniquity committed by Adam and Eve and thus passed
on to every human. Only through the sacrificial death and glorious
resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the regenerating work of the Holy
Spirit, is salvation made available to every person and communion with
God possible.
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God through faith and
by grace, entirely apart from any works or deeds, and is available to
all who surrender their lives and place their trust in Jesus Christ
and receive Him as personal Lord and Savior.
We believe that good works and deeds are outward expressions of
gratitude for what God has given in Christ Jesus.
We believe in full church membership upon regeneration: that is,
when persons are old enough to understand their need for Jesus Christ
and, of their own free will, have accepted Him as their personal Lord
and Savior, membership is extended.
We believe that New Testament baptism by immersion is a symbol of
the death and burial of one’s old life and the resurrection to new
life in Christ. We believe the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His
suffering and death on the cross and a re-commitment to a
Christ-centered life. These are ordinances observed by the church in
this present age. However, observing these ordinances alone is not to
be regarded as means for salvation.
We believe in the personal, imminent, and glorious return of the
Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for a
dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while awaiting His
return.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead at the command of God, an
everlasting dwelling with the Creator in heaven for the saved, and the
eternal separation from God for the lost in hell.
We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall
manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious
body or organization.
