Legacy Giving

Thanks for visiting the legacy giving section of our website! It is our hope and prayer that this will be a tangible ministry in your life.

We are told that a staggering 60% of Americans do not have a will and of those who do, 70% are not current. The ramifications of this on children, surviving spouses, on taxes and fees are immeasurable. There are many reasons for this including a fear of dying, procrastination, confusion about the whole process, the cost of creating a will and more.

We at Anchor want to provide “layperson friendly” legacy planning information that can enable you to protect your family and be a wise steward of the financial resources God has entrusted to you. There is much we can all learn from being good stewards.

So, grab a beverage, kick off your shoes and browse around. If you prefer to get down to business, click on the Estate Plan Organizer (EPO) on any page and walk through a planning tutorial and data gathering process. At the end, you can print the information you’ve entered to take to your attorney or you can send it to the Kentucky Baptist Foundation for review and consultation.

All of the information you enter on the organizer is confidential. The organizer does not collect or store social security numbers or bank account numbers. No one will see your entries unless you “submit” at the end and ask for help. In that case, Kentucky Baptist Foundation Trust Counsel Laurie Valentine will be in touch to serve you in any way she can.

So make yourself at home!
